We Were the Kings and Queens of Reading

Hey there guys. I hope you had a very good weekend. I know you all had a better one then I did. I spent the weekend feeling sick and congested. I am sill a little clogged up but I feel a whole bunch better than I did Saturday. This whole week we are taking OGTs and guess what today's was?!? You guessed it, reading! I sure hope the title didn't give it away. I feel pretty confident in the answers I gave and the essays I wrote. Reading is one of my strong points anyway so I'm pretty positive about the test. Tomorrow is math however, which is not one of my strong points. We are going to be given a formula sheet though which makes it a little more bearable to think about. I can do all of the equations, I just can't memorize the formulas. The same goes for the science test. There are a bunch of formulas for work and gravitational potential energy and the like. I have a feeling I'll end up writing them down on my hand or something before the test unless we cram them the next three days. So tomorrow is math, Wednesday is writing, Thursday is science and Friday is history. I am pretty confident in my abilities to finish all of these tests on time and with great quality.

So in terms of other things that are happening, the lovely Rachel allowed me to borrow her prized copy of This Is War, the new 30 Seconds To Mars album. I am loving it so far! My team won again for the third straight time at Jeopardy in Mr. Smith's class and our new music will be available to us tomorrow! I am so excited for it. Speaking of band though, we had an interesting classmate with us today. A dead bird. I don't know how it got in there or why it died but it did and the whole class was freaking out about it.
I also learned that One Tree Hill, my most beloved obsession, could be in danger of cancellation due to contract disputes. In my opinion, there is is no way to end the show with dignity with all of the loose ends they still have out there. With only four episodes left and being on a six-week hiatus there is no possible way. Besides the fact that they should end the show with the original Core Five, Lucas, Peyton, Haley, Nathan and Brooke. We as an audience don't know what happened to Peyton or Lucas or Sawyer and how can they end the show without telling us their happy ending? Hopefully it gets brought back for at least a 13-episode half-season. I'm not sure I could deal with not having it after 7 years of loyal devotion and feeling an immense connection to the characters. We have been there through break-ups and hook-ups, marriages and divorces, births and deaths and countless amounts of drama in between. These guys are my television family and I'd hate to lose them. The CW would be crazy to cancel their best show, in my opinion, for one that has no life or longevity. Hopefully soon I will be able to write a post celebrating when it gets renewed.

On a very light and happy closing note, the Prince of Persia fights in Crocs, not sandals. Watchers of The Soup, you know what I am talking about. Write Soon!
