Hello! And how are you on this fine day? I am doing quite well other than a minor panic attack I had this morning while practicing my solo with the accompanist. But I will talk about that later. It is all nice and sunny today which is better than the cold winds we had yesterday. Yesterday, I went to the JV's first baseball game against Newcomerstown. They won by 11 and played really well. I went mainly to see Rob play, but he didn't play until the very last inning and didn't get to bat so I was a little sad about that. My other friend Dean, who normally plays varsity, played last night too. He pitched for the last half of the game and he did really well. I think that just like last year both JV and varsity will do well.
Last night on American Idol they did R&B hits. Yet again, only a couple people did well. My favorite of the night was. Lee. His was so good and I think he has a chance of winning this season. Andrew Garcia did well. His song reminded me of when Kris Allen did a cover of Kanye West's Heartless. Crystal did well as usual and so did big Mike. I am really not sure who will be going home tonight, but I think it could be Tim. He may be cute, but he hasn't been singing that well lately. In my opinion, Lee is the only one who has progressed throughout the course of the show.
Last night our teen mom-to-be was Nicole from Florida. She didn't have any drama really. Her mom was not mad about her having a baby and her boyfriend was supportive. So now we are 3/7 on supportive boyfriends. Next week is the girl who is having twins and it looks extremely dramatic.
So today we had the accompanist come in and run through our solos with us for the fine arts night that we are having later in April. Of course, I froze and could hardly play through it. I mean yes, I haven't worked on it a bunch since I prepared it for Solo and Ensemble but it is still playable. For some reason I just cannot play in front of people all by myself. I have no problem with ensembles at all though. I don't remember anything event in my past that would've caused me such trauma. It's probably a self esteem thing seeing as I have one that fluctuates. There are days that I am really confident and there are days when I am not. No matter what though, Mariama always finds a way to make me smile. Write Soon!
"Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. And then, one not-so-very special day, I went to my typewriter, I sat down, and I wrote our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever. The End." ~Moulin Rouge! (2001)

Conversations Between Friends Pt. 2
Why hello there. how have you guys been? I have been doing pretty good other than a fight that me and my friend got into. But if I wrote it in here, this post would be a thousand pages long. So I will save it for another day because Lord knows it'll still be an issue tomorrow. It's been really cold the past couple days but its supposed to warm up by the middle of the week. Yay! But, as promised, here is the second half of my conversation about Justin Beiber that I had with Mariama.
Previously...
E: I understand. I suffer from the same symptoms. But I feel terrible, I am not giving my whole heart to Justin. There is another man in my life...
M: Who? No one is as beautiful as Justin!
E: Indeed there is not. But I'm starting to wonder if Justin actually has a soul or if he is just all hair. the other ones name is Landon. I have 48 posters of him.
M: *gasps* well, does this "Landon" have a high pitched voice that sends chills down your spine like Justin? Dos he drink from the fountain of youth like Justin? Hmm? Just why exactly do you like him?
E: No. He does not do either of these things. But he has a kind heart and is the funniest person ever. And he doesn't have commitment issues.
M: He doesn't?
E: Nope. In fact he's never dated anyone. He is totally committed to his pending basketball career. One day he will be a star and I will be there to be his lover.
M: If he's not a star yet, then where'd you get all of the posters?
E: I make them myself. It is a giant collage of newspaper clippings and personal photos I have taken.
M: ...Genius.
E: Why thank you. Other people have told me that this obsession is unhealthy but I refuse to believe them. They just don't know what it is like to love a person.
M: Exactly! Love is going above and beyond what is "healthy". Why send a Happy Birthday card when you could hire a skywriter? Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I've been in love with Justin since September.
E: Wow! I cant believe you've been in that relationship that long. But you are totaly right. Over-the-top gestures are what put you above the other people.
M: I know! <3 And yes. How do you expect him to ever know you love him if you don't show it in the biggest way possible?
E: It's the only way. You have to distinguish yourself from the other people who are just "fans". Ugh those people make me sick with all their faux adoration.
M: Me too! They only buy the CDs or in your case, only go to a couple games.
E: Hey now! Just because transportation was an issue doesn't mean my heart wasn't with him on every bus ride or during every play. I'm not justa fan, I'm devoted.
M: I wasn't talking about you! I was talking about the others. I know your soul was there even if you weren't.
E: Oh okay. That's better. All those little fangirls who say they love him have no idea what it is like being the #1 fan of sucha important person. It is difficult!
M: It is difficult! you have to keep on top of what they're doing so you can always be there plus maintain your own schedule. It's hectic.
E: I know! And you have to maintain a high self esteem so that the throngs of girls attacking your man don't turn you into a jealous psycho.
M: Yeah! Which is hard sometimes because they yell insults at you whenever they see you.
E: I know. I've heard the most degrading things you'd never believe. I've heard that there is a group of girls who keep track of how many "creeper points" I earn a day.
M: They keep track? What freaks! You be strong. they're just jealous of your devotion.
Thus concludes this wonderful conversation between Mariama and myself. I hope you have enjoyed it. I know I did. I have another convo that we had about all of the "children" I am supposed to have with Owen saved on my phone and I may post that on here too later. I'll have to think of a name for this segment. Conversations Between Friends
Hello there. How have you guys been? I personally am not enjoying the weather here. It is all rainy and grey. today I thought I would try something new seeing as I have gotten no comments telling me what I should write about. This is a conversation I had with one of my best friends, Mariama. Not that this is not a serious conversation until the very end and even then I am exaggerating. I hope you find it as hilarious as Mariama and I did.
E: I was a little concerned. Justin Beiber is performing at the Kids Choice Awards... Tyra is singing along.
M: Why!?
E: Because he is a teen heartthrob thing lol. He isn't that good live. His voice cracked and I giggled.
M:IT DID!?! That makes my day!
E: lol Do you have Beiber Fever!?
M:Oh yes. I can always tell if it's him, whether he's wearing a hat or a hood. XD
E: Lol! All his best fans know that! And that his natural smile means he's having fun.
M: Lol! How could I forget! Silly me.
E: lol I love that video. His accent just makes it a hundred times better.
M: It does! Accents make everything better. And he's so funny.
E: Mmhmm. *dancing like Justin Beiber ooh!* lol I love that part.
M: Me too! I love their faces when they do it.
E: I love the song. It's just so Justin-y. lol. But the real question is how many poster of Justin do YOU have on your wall?
M: 57 and a half. The half is because I got into a fight with another girl over it at WalMart and it ripped.
E:Oh my! What a devoted fan you are! I only have 47... I must not love him as much as you do. I must acquire more!
M: You should! But only the ones I already have. If you find one I don't, I will cut you.
E: *gasp* And I thought we were friends.
M: We are. But I've got a fever... and the only cure is more Beiber!
E: I understand. I suffer from the same symptoms. But I feel terrible, I am not giving my whole heart to Justin. there is another man in my life...
Dun Dun Dun... Who could it be?! You will just have to wait until next time. I'm thinking that I will put the last half of this convo up tomorrow. This post was getting a little long so I figured I'd cut it in half and leave the air dripping with suspense. If you would like to know what the heck we are talking about just watch this video by the lovely Charlie McDonnell --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLWrYh9Lr4A
Just a little update on my life, I have recently become obsessed with FanFiction. I read it all the time. If you know of any good stories that I would like leave me a comment with the link! Write Soon!

DON'T TOUCH MY PLANTS!!!
Hello there darlings. I'm going to be typing like this for a while seeing as I've just come to from the theatre. Going to the theatre always makes Me feel rich and high-society like. The play this year was hilarious as usual but this year a massive amount of my friends were in it. Ellen, Michelle, Owen, and Breanne along with a few other people. They all did incredible and all of the parts they played were perfect for them. Ellen played a snobby housewife, Michelle played the daughter of the main character who has a temper issue and Owen was Michelle's boyfriend. The play was called Father's Been To Mars and was about a family man who has a TV show where he is a space hero and he brings his character home with him and his family doesn't enjoy it too much. The whole play was funny and no one messed up their lines at all. The two best lines from the play were "Don't touch my plants!" and "Laverne, you old tramp you!" I say with Mariama during the 2nd and 3rd acts. I would've say with her during the 1st act but I didn't see her. We were laughing the whole time at Austin everytime he would walk across the stage during intermission and at this small child who was dancing and jumping around randomly during the whole play and we couldn't keep from giggling. Overall the whole play was great and I am really proud of all of my friends and all of the other cast members.
In Mr. Smithers' class we have to create a 60s television show about a specific ethnic group. I am in a group with Rob, Skylar and James and we have Japanese Americans. The plot line for our pilot episode is that Rob and I are dating and we have just been released from an internment camp. When we go to our old house we see that a typical American family living In our house and so we go to live in a homeless shelter. The next scene is rob and I sitting in the waiting room of an office because he is going to be interviewing for a job. We are in the room with Skylar and James and James goes off on Rob about how he won't get the job because he is Japanese and thus ensues a fight leaving James wounded on the floor. Skylar offers to let us stay in his basement. The next scene is Rob and Me sitting on the couch when a knock at the door is heard and It's a cop who says, "have you seen these people?" holding up a picture of us. That is the last scene in our show. I think it is quite intense. I am excited to see it come together. This weekend I have to work on the script and get my outfit picked out. Rob and I are going to get together on Sunday and work on it together to make sure it is perfect.

Miley Cyrus is a hooker
Hello there darlings. I hope you all are having a grand ol' day. I am enjoying the sunshine while it lasts. The past couple days have been pretty uneventful. Today we had a tornado drill and we had to go down in the boiler room to hide from the impending disaster. The problem with this is all the pipes down there could possibly impale all of us. Bad idea on the schools part in my opinion.
So in the world of television, the Secret Life finale was on Monday night. We don't know weather or not Adrian is pregnant, what Amy feels about Ricky and Ben and why Ashley wants to have sex with her nasty looking boyfriend guy. Nevertheless, I am not really looking forward to the new season in the summer but I suppose I will have to watch it just to see what happens.
Last night on 16 and pregnant our teen mom was Samantha from Texas.. I felt so bad for her during her labor. She was in labor with terrible back labor for 25 hours before they gave her a C-section. Her baby girl was super cute and they named her Jordynn. We are now 2/6 in supportive baby daddy's!
American Idol last night was terrible. They did top 40 hits and yet again only 3 of them did anywhere close to well. Lee, Crystal and Siobhan. The worst one overall was Paige. She has been terrible the whole time she has been on the show. I really hope she goes home this week. She doesn't deserve to be there. And to top it off, Miley Cyrus was the mentor this week. That is a new low for AI in my mind.
So one thing that my school is doing next year is having a class about blogging. Like ways to make it more interesting and getting more followers. It's also going to talk about different careers that can develop from being a professional blogger. I am super pumped for this and I hope that I will have enough space in my schedule for it next year. It would be considered an English elective so I would get credits for it and I would spend an entire period in the computer lab everyday doing something that has to do with blogging. That would make me very happy. Hopefully it is a semester course so that I can get my gym credit in too next year.
Also, I am going to start doing a post once a week reflecting on anything you guys want me to talk about. Whether it be my feelings about a topic or advice on a a situation you are having. So leave me a comment telling me what you want me to talk about in upcoming posts. Write Soon!

Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Hey guys. I'm sorry that I have been slacking on these. So since my last post I have taken both my science and social studies OGT's. The social studies one was quite easy. I was prepared for all the questions and knew what to write for the essays and when I was finished with the test I was really confident in my results. The science test however was difficult. I did not think it would be that hard but whatever happens, happens. The weather has been really great lately. Not the freezing temps we've gotten used to over winter. I'm just happy to be wearing flip-flops on a regular basis. Yesterday, Joe, Sarah and I went outside and did some yard work and played around. It was the first day that we spent outside all year. I cannot wait until summer to get here so that I can just spend my days laying out in the sun and getting tan. The approach of summer also means that my trip to Costa Rica is almost here! I am super ecstatic for this trip. We picked our roomates the last meeting we had and I am comfortable being will all of the people I put on my list and I wouldn't mind being with the people from the other schools that are going with us. There are 6 people from Indiana and 3 people from Georgia. I hope the people from Georgia are super rad because it'd be nice to have southern friends.
Today, I went to the basket bingo that we (student council) threw. I was so close to winning like 5 times but I didn't. We were playing for Longaberger baskets and other Longaberger items. My mom won a little tiny flowerpot basket from the door prize drawing but that's the only thing we won. Tomorrow everything will settle back into it's normal flow. Without OGT's or OGT prep we will actually be doing work and learning new things which will be nice. I was getting tired of doing nothing for two weeks.
My lovely friend Rachel aka Lady Isabella Topanga is writing her faux biography of our history teacher Derek Smithers and I am excited for the humor it will bring. When I know what the URL is to the blogspot she created especially for this story I will put a link in here. I can only imagine what she will create his life to be like but i'm sure it'll be hilarious. Write soon!

The Second Quest of The Adventure Galley
Hello darlings. How are you on this fine spring day? I am having a fantastic day. Both the math and writing OGTs were quite easy and I'm confident in my results from that. We had no drama in Biology like we did yesterday. I promise I will explain later. And Rachel, Matt, Garry and I all skipped our seventh period study hall to hang out in the auditorium to avoid the wrath of our study hall supervisor. I'll explain more about that later too. But now, on to Idol and 16 & Pregnant.
On Idol it was Rolling Stones week. I though that, like usual, only 3-4 people did really well and the rest were okay with a few people who were terrible. I thought Lee and Crystal did well as usual. I also thought that Lacey did well even though they thought it was just ok. Tonight is elimination and Ke$ha is performing with 3OH!3, Orianthi is performing and someone else is too but I forget who it is.
On 16 & pregnant last night our lovely mom to be was Lori from Kentucky. She was adopted and didn't want to have to put her baby through that but in the end she did. They named the baby Aiden, which is the best boy name so far this season. Also we are now 1/5 on supportive baby daddies. Though this guy reminded me of a guy who used to go to my school that Ellen dated, he was an okay guy for most of the episode and was sad when he had to see their baby go.
So Biology yesterday was the most intense, overly-dramatic it has ever been. Because OGTs are in the morning and we have Bio 5th period, we have been going to class all week. We have been using the time to review all the concepts that could be on the OGT. Yesterday we were reviewing the life sciences part of the book which consists of cell structure, DNA and genetics. So at the beginning of class Mr. O was like "Okay, this next chapter is the life sciences chapter of the book. It's biology, which is what this whole class is about." To this Traci* said, "Well then why are we reviewing it?" I'm not sure if she was being serious or not but it caused Mr. O to start getting angry. So he says to the class, "Can anyone tell me why we would be reviewing this?" So I say, "Because review benefits everybody and..." and before I could finish my sentence, Traci said, "I didn't want to hear it from you, I wanted to hear it from him." And right after that Tanya* says, "(in referring to me speaking) It's like she read my mind!" So Mr. O is really mad at this point and he closes his book, sits back in his chair and says, " Ok you guys read the next two lessons by yourselves because I'm done." The rest of the class period was silent and I couldn't help but feel bad for him. I knew that it had to have been a breaking point for him because I felt it too. I have seen a lot of student to teacher disrespect but this was beyond anything I had seen. Today was quite and nice and we accomplished a lot during class. Our science test is tomorrow and then no more review.
Arrgh matey's! I have another tale to tell ye from The Adventure Galley. I'm now going to stop speaking in pirate. So today Isabella Topanga and myself along with two other scoundrels from our 7th period study hall skipped class and hung out in the Lagoon and exploring its numerous caverns. We found a whole bunch of little Eiffel Tower magnets from a thousand proms ago and the photo books from last year along with yards and yard of different fabrics they've used to decorate for prom, a giant can of glitter, spray paint and detention records from two years ago. Because the have the set for the play assembled on stage we were pretending that we lived in the house and hid up in the little tiny projector room in the back. We also devised an escape plan in the event that we ever wanted to just leave the school via window. We plan on going back again but I'm not sure when. Hopefully Mistress Tiger Lily and her parrot, Lady Margarine, will join us.
Also, because it is St. Patrick's Day, I had a friend who wore a kilt to school. A male friend. I have been scarred for life. Write Soon!

And right after that Tanya* says, "(in referring to me speaking) It's like she read my mind!" So Mr.
Write Soon!

We Were the Kings and Queens of Reading
Hey there guys. I hope you had a very good weekend. I know you all had a better one then I did. I spent the weekend feeling sick and congested. I am sill a little clogged up but I feel a whole bunch better than I did Saturday. This whole week we are taking OGTs and guess what today's was?!? You guessed it, reading! I sure hope the title didn't give it away. I feel pretty confident in the answers I gave and the essays I wrote. Reading is one of my strong points anyway so I'm pretty positive about the test. Tomorrow is math however, which is not one of my strong points. We are going to be given a formula sheet though which makes it a little more bearable to think about. I can do all of the equations, I just can't memorize the formulas. The same goes for the science test. There are a bunch of formulas for work and gravitational potential energy and the like. I have a feeling I'll end up writing them down on my hand or something before the test unless we cram them the next three days. So tomorrow is math, Wednesday is writing, Thursday is science and Friday is history. I am pretty confident in my abilities to finish all of these tests on time and with great quality.
So in terms of other things that are happening, the lovely Rachel allowed me to borrow her prized copy of This Is War, the new 30 Seconds To Mars album. I am loving it so far! My team won again for the third straight time at Jeopardy in Mr. Smith's class and our new music will be available to us tomorrow! I am so excited for it. Speaking of band though, we had an interesting classmate with us today. A dead bird. I don't know how it got in there or why it died but it did and the whole class was freaking out about it.
I also learned that One Tree Hill, my most beloved obsession, could be in danger of cancellation due to contract disputes. In my opinion, there is is no way to end the show with dignity with all of the loose ends they still have out there. With only four episodes left and being on a six-week hiatus there is no possible way. Besides the fact that they should end the show with the original Core Five, Lucas, Peyton, Haley, Nathan and Brooke. We as an audience don't know what happened to Peyton or Lucas or Sawyer and how can they end the show without telling us their happy ending? Hopefully it gets brought back for at least a 13-episode half-season. I'm not sure I could deal with not having it after 7 years of loyal devotion and feeling an immense connection to the characters. We have been there through break-ups and hook-ups, marriages and divorces, births and deaths and countless amounts of drama in between. These guys are my television family and I'd hate to lose them. The CW would be crazy to cancel their best show, in my opinion, for one that has no life or longevity. Hopefully soon I will be able to write a post celebrating when it gets renewed.
On a very light and happy closing note, the Prince of Persia fights in Crocs, not sandals. Watchers of The Soup, you know what I am talking about. Write Soon!

Pins and Needles
Hello, I hope you all have had a wonderful Friday. Mine was not so good at the beginning but got better in the afternoon. Today was my first time ever giving blood willingly. I have not had that many experiences with needles and they have not been very good ones. Because I have had mono twice, I have gotten my blood drawn so they could run all sorts of tests and things. The first time I had it, I was so dehydrated that they couldn't find a vein so they kept stabbing me in the arm and that hurt quite a bit. The second time was better but I still didn't enjoy it. So naturally I am getting really nervous that it's going to take them forever to find a vein and they are going to have to poke around in my arm with a needle that is quite large. This didn't happen and everything went well except that it hurt a little and because I had worked myself up so much I started to hyperventilate and cry. It took me a while to calm down but once I did I felt as good as a person getting their blood drained possibly could. I had made an appointment early in the morning but I was in the gym for an hour and a half because I forgot to take my permit with me so they had no way to identify that I was who I said I was and I was as old as I am. So I ended up missing all of 2nd and 3rd period but we didn't really do anything important. Just OGT prep which I am so tired of. During lunch Rochelle and Ellen were giving blood so Rachel and I went in to make sure they were still alive. Both of them were well, but Ellen did pass out while they were taking the blood out. Being the good friends that we are, we were like their little personal nurses and went and got them lunch and helped them out of their chairs when they were done. It was a fun experience and I'm sure they both appreciated our help and support. Because Ellen passed out, they gave her cold compresses for her face and neck and this little blanket thing that was supposed to keep her warm. To be funny we pulled the blanket up over her face and said, "You died," because she passed out. Overall, I'd say that my first time giving blood went ok. I think I would've been a lot calmer if I had one of my friends in there with me to keep me relaxed.
Today, even more stupidity was released into the atmosphere during Bio. We were working out of the Coach books and none of the class was paying attention or caring for that matter. Except McMillian and myself. There were just so many stupid comments like for example, "Does the brain have a nucleus?" She was being completely serious. I can only hope that I am not thrown into a massive pit of stupidity like this one in my future science classes because I truly reached a breaking point today. It doesn't help either that because OGT's are in the mornings, I will still have to deal with them all week. No breaks, no shortened periods, just class time for them to waste acting like morons.
On a lighter note, today is Friday and it was even warmer today than it was yesterday. I have absolutely nothing to do this weekend except rest and figure out what I am going to go with all the extra time I will have after OGT's without my iPod. I guess it's state law that you can't have an iPod or your phone in the testing area. I understand it but I want my music!
I also figured out this whole Youtube Downloader thing so now I have both of the Shane Dawson Degrassi spoofs on my iPod and parenting tips from Britney Spears that are hilarious as well as three songs by Charlie McDonnell (charlieissocoollike) that are quite fantastic! *cue Johnny Weir*. Unless anything extremely fantastic that I must post about happens this weekend you can expect another post on Monday! Write Soon!

Pirate Quests on The Adventure Galley
Arrgh! Ahoy Mateys! Welcome to my post about me and my friends' pirate adventures. We decided on our pirate quests two days ago in study hall when we started using the paper with our OGT test dates on it as telescopes. My first mate Rachel (AKA Lady Topanga) and I (AKA Lady Beatrice Margeaux), are the captains of The Adventure Galley and our crew members include Mariama (AKA Mistress Tiger Lily), Rochelle ( AKA Black Esmeralda), Ellen (AKA Lady Meridith), Michelle (AKA Lightning Lily), and Ann (AKA Fiery Joan). We have named the bathroom in the cafeteria Hangman's Cove and the auditorium is The Lagoon. Our first quest was to find the buried treasure, which was a bag of cookies, in Hangman's Cove. We were successful in this quest and then proceeded to hide it in my chest (locker) until Black Esmeralda and I dueled for it. The loser would become the whore of the ship and be caller Mistress Snooki for the rest of the week and the winner would receive the treasure. We dueled in the Hangman's Cove and unfortunately, I lost. We fought with spoons and forks in a style that slightly resembles fencing. I had a great deal of fun even though I did lose. I am not quite sure what our next quest will be but I am sure that it will not be lacking in adventure. Write Soon!

I am warming up to spring :)
Hey there! Today is Wednesday as you all probably already know. It is supposed to be pretty warm today and that makes me smile. It is supposed to get up to 60 degrees today which means that spring is on its way! Hurray! We are in pre-OGT week so school has been really boring. All of our teachers are just like cramming silly information into our brains saying "Don't get over confident because you wont do as well as you think," which is like insulting our intelligence. I personally am not worried for the OGT at all. I am pretty good at taking standardized tests and just tests in general. I know I should be concerned but I'm really not. I finished Jane Eyre on Monday night and I liked it a lot. The end made me happy because they were together and he could see out of his one eye and they lived happily ever after. Next up on my reading list is Pride & Prejudice by the lovely Jane Austen. I'm not sure why I feel the need to read all of these old books but I am broadening my reading abilities and library of books I can say I have read.
On last night's 16 & pregnant, our lovely mom-to-be was Chelsea from South Dakota and baby daddy Adam. Like episodes before, Adam was a waste of her time and Chelsea ended up raising their daughter all by herself. The name though, is the most normal to date: Aubrey Skye. Unlike Lyle, or Jace it is normal and quite pretty actually. Neveah is ok but I wouldn't name my baby that.
The girls went first last night on Idol and they did alright. None of them to me have that WOW factor yet. I really like Lily Scott and Lacey Brown though. they are fun and quirky and I enjoy listening to them sing. The boys are up tonight at 9 and then elimination on Thursday. I think they are sending two home from each group this week to get to the Top 12.
The new cycle of ANTM starts tonight at 8 (?) on the CW and I am super excited for it. I love me some Tyra Banks. Hopefully all the girls are fun and exciting to watch and the level of drama will be low. Although that is what makes the show great.
Because one of my lovely bff's is sitting right next to me and I don't have anything else to write about, I will write about him. His name is McMillian* and he is so fun to be around. He is the reason I don't kill myself everyday during Bio and the reason I am still in that class. I wouldn't leave him in there all by himself to deal with all those morons. That would be friend abandonment and I am not for that at all. He is obsessed with soccer. In particular Chelsea Football Club in England. I personally find soccer to be silly and a waste of time but you love what you love right? I love him very much and I hope we are friends for a long time. Write Soon!

Avatar Has To Be Feeling The Hurt
Hey! I hope all of you had a grand ol' weekend, I know I did. With Alice and the Oscars who wouldn't have a good time?! Those are the only two things I'm going to talk about in this post. Because those are the only things that matter from this weekend.
Up first, Alice. This movie was a visually enticing masterpiece, costumes and all. The acting was great on all parts and the story was a great compilation of both stories. I really thought that it was a great movie and I would not mind seeing it again and I probably will with my group of friends.
Oscar time! I was completely surprised by the amount of awards The Hurt Locker won. I thought, "Ok, Avatar is going to sweep the whole show," but it only won three awards and they were for like visual effects and cinematography. The Hurt Locker won six of the nine awards it was nominated for. The Red Carpet was pretty uneventful in terms of terrible dresses. I loved Sandra Bullock's dress! It was one of my favorites. As always, Jake Gyllenhaal looked AMAZING! I am excited for Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time, his new movie. It is due out in May and it looks great. He is a great actor and a major hottie. Sandra Bullock took Best Lead Actress over Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges took Lead Actor over George Clooney, who I thought would win it. The best part of the night was probably when Ben Stiller came out to present for Best Make-up. This is what he looked like...\/

I busted up laughing and couldn't stop to even pay attention to what he was presenting for. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were fantastic hosts and the show, to me, was a success. I was on the phone with Owen, my lovely co-commentator, the entire time until my phone died. I am sad that award season is over but there is always next year. In my mind, there are 5 seasons: spring, summer, fall, winter, and awards season.
Tonight on TV we have yet another over-dramatic episode of Secret Life, Life Unexpected, and Fashion Police from the Oscars. I'm looking forward to 2/3 of those. Write Soon!

In Wonderland, I Hope They Don't Have Fish
Hello, and welcome to a new post by yours truly. Today it is really sunny out and relatively warm for the beginning of March. Tonight when I get home from school, me and my mother are going to see Alice In Wonderland at 5. I am super excited for the movie because the companion soundtrack was amazing! my favorite songs are "You Are Old, Father William" and "Painting Flowers". They are both really good songs. The only song I really didn't like was "Very Good Advice" by Robert Smith. It is definitely is something I would never listen to on my own. Hopefully the movie is extremely rad because the previews make it look awesome. The Oscars are also the weekend and I am excited for those. I really hope Avatar doesn't win all the awards because I heard that the plot line wasn't that original and that the graphics are what made it so "great".
There has been little drama from anywhere in my social life which makes me extremely happy. If there's anything I can't stand, it's drama. All the unnecessary tattling and gossip drives me insane! it's like, "It happened last week, let it go!"Nevertheless, I got a 94 on my Biology test that we took yesterday. I could've gotten a 100 on it but because of the philosophy I have when it comes to taking tests, I never go back and check my work. I say to myself, "This is the best you could do, turn in your test." Most of the time it has been effective but I may be editing this policy with the OGT coming up. Not that I don't think that I'll do well on the OGT and have to retake parts of it next year, but I want to get high scores no matter if it doesn't effect my college search. I personally believe that if we didn't have to use so much time studying for how to take this test, we would have more time to do interesting things in school. Not just spend our entire sophomore year learning how to take a test.
Seeing as it is 10 o'clock I have obviously already seen Alice, but I will save that for Monday when I do my Oscars recap. For now its off to bed with me. My tummy hurts from all the fish I've had to eat today, blech. Write Soon!

It's Time To Start Anew
Hello. I really hope that you guys have had a good past couple days. Mine have been okay. Not extremely fantastic but not terrible either. The whole Tanya* drama has died down and I am glad for that. It was getting extremely out of hand. Last night on 16 & Pregnant, our lovely teen mom to be was Valerie. She lived in Pennsylvania and was only 15. At first I was concerned with her baby daddy not being there for her and their kid, but I was happy to see that in the end he came back and is being good to her and Neveah. The guys went first on American Idol last night instead of the girls because of one of the girls was sick. I thought that most of the guys did okay. There were only a couple guys that I thought did really well and a couple that I thought did pretty bad. Like John Park. I thought his was quite horrendous. I am excited to see what the girls choose in terms of songs and how they change them and make them their own. If you couldn't tell, this is kinda a music post today. I have just had so many musical things happen these past couple days and I am really excited.
At the end of the year we always do some type of pop culture piece for band and this year we are doing a compilation of my four favorite songs from the Slumdog Millionaire score. I am extremely happy about this! Slumdog was one of my favorite movies and the score is fantastic. I have all the songs on my iPod. We are also doing a compilation of Journey songs which doesn't bother me, but I'm not thrilled about it either. I like Journey but I when it comes to concert band I like to do more movie score-type things.
I also read yesterday that The Maine, who are one of my absolute favorite bands, is working on a new album and going on tour this spring with another of my favorite bands, Cartel. I've seen The Maine in concert and they were amazing and Cartel is on my list of bands to see. I Have no idea what the tour dates are but if they come to Columbus, I would want to go. Cartel's new album that they just released a couple months ago is really good. I personally thingk that it is their best work so far. Its's fun and energetic with meaningful lyrics and I love their style of music.
At this very moment, I am downloading the companion soundtrack to Alice In Wonderland, Almost Alice. Rachel stole my iPod and is putting all of the songs on it for me because she pre-ordered the album on iTunes and I can't wait until i get it back tomorrow so I can listen to it all the way through. You may ask, "Why didn't you just download all the songs and then put them on your iPod?" and the answer to that question is... well I'm not sure but I'm doing it this way anyway. I'm pretty sure my group of friends is going to go see Alice In Wonderland next week and I can't wait. Every time I see the trailer for it I have a mini freak out.
Next week is the premiere of a new cycle of ANTM which I am looking forward to. And six weeks from yesterday...It'll be Glee time!! I can't wait for it to come back. I love it so much it's probably unhealthy.
Tomorrow I have a biology test which I am pretty confident in. We've been talking about the same thing for like three weeks and I understand it completely. Wish me luck! Write Soon!

To Who It May Concern:
Hello. Due to the crazy response to my last post from the girl I posted it about, I will be implementing a series of name omissions in future posts. All of my previous posts have been simplified down to first and last initials or middle names. I am going to use middle names for everyone who is just being mentioned in a post like when I talk about how I went to a lock-in with Kayla Stephenson, I would use Rachel in place of her name. Every person that I talk about in a slanderous way like in my last post, I will make up an acronym for them using the letters of their name. If this is not good enough for you and you feel like you need to be removed from the post all together please leave me a comment and I will do so no questions asked. I really didn't want it to have to come to this because this blog is innocent and just for fun but because of a request by the principle in response to people's reactions to my last post I have to.
*note to the person who has caused such an uproar and repression of freedom of speech*
I hope you feel accomplished. You had to involve the administration and address them on the dramatized issues surrounding your rehabilitation. You are so determined to win a battle that you have already lost. Now we should have a sense of alleviation, seeing as you have now confirmed our negative opinions on your mislead life.
I hope that this will not deter any of you guys from reading this blog. It makes me happy to know that there are people who care enough about me to read this.
