~Why hello there! It has been quite a while since my last blog. I hope that all you had a happy new year. I know I did. I stayed up to watch the ball drop and then went to bed right after. I did see JLo's performance and I'm questioning her stylists thought processes. That fur overcoat thing and her sparkly bodysuit were just a bad choice... The new year brought us a new season of Secret Life. It wasn't fantastic but it wasn't the terrible excuse for a show that they gave us last season. I am looking forward to all the plot lines that the first episode set in motion. Overall it should turn out to be a very good season. Even though the Bengals lost their game to the Jets they are still in the playoffs. We would be going but because of the weather and the fact that it is sucha long drive we aren't going to. Hopefully they get a win and advance to the next round and after that make it really far. It's nice to see them in this situation as a fan. There was a basketball game last night and we won! It was super exciting and it was nice to be able to see L.B. play and fangirl over him. The best part of the night was when he dunked it. Everybody in the crowd was screaming and clapping. My throat was half raw by the end of the night. He scored close to half our teams total points and only had three fouls. Overall it was a very good game for him and to watch.
~For my Costa Rica trip that I'm going on in the summer we are having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser but the kicker is that it costs $10 to go and if we don't sell our ten tickets we have to pay the $100 that we didn't make. All the money we make is supposed to be split among all the kids who are going which I think is really dumb. If you didn't sell any tickets you shouldn't make any money. I haven't sold any of mine and i don't plan on paying the $100 when I don't sell them all. I really think that this fundraiser should've been optional and that the kids who sold the tickets should get their money. This whole trip and the fundraising is turning into this crazy mess.
~So in Bio we are talking about meiosis. I understand the topic completely. The other 90% of my class does not however. So today Mr. Oldaker gave us this big long thing about how he doesn't get why we don't get it. But it is clear to him that we don't spend any time with our notes and that we don't study period. I think he is completely right. I don't study because I don't need to. There are only about three other kids in my class who could get away with not studying that much. The rest of them are mostly dumb as posts who don't give a shit about this class or school in general. They more than likely won't go to college because they'll be too busy getting high, drunk or pregnant. I'm sorry that I have standards and care about what happens in my future. I'm sorry that I don't want to live off government assist and have a husband with no job and three kids running around acting like a bunch of heathens. I am not trying to say that I am in some way better than the people who do live like this. But I am saying that it is the reality that about half my Bio class is going to face.
~In the past couple days I have decided that my obsession with T.B. is going to take a backseat in my life because he is acting like a huge jerk. Maybe I only feel a need to know his life story when he is dating someone and not just hanging out with his friends and treating people like crap. Though I'm thinking that it's just a front he puts up in order to feel accepted. I don't know but for now it is full steam ahead on the RMS Hott haha. Leave comments, write soon!
