"Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. And then, one not-so-very special day, I went to my typewriter, I sat down, and I wrote our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever. The End." ~Moulin Rouge! (2001)

It's Late and I'm Thirsty
Hello again and how are y'all? I am doing pretty good if I do say so myself. I am currently at my cousin's house for her graduation party. I have been down here in Blan since yesterday at around 2pm. We would've been there earlier but we had all these issues with the trailer on the way down which put us about two hours behind schedule. The trailer actually ended up breaking and so we left it in a parking lot at a Motel 6 off of exit 100. While we were waiting, I'm pretty sure there was a pimp and his hooker doing some sort of business across the parking lot. I found it to be a little hilarious. Once we arrived at my cousin's house, we hung out with my aunt who was in from Minnesota who I adore. Then, before I went to bed, she did this thing to my hair where she rolled it up in cut up socks and when I took it out in the morning I looked like Ke$ha. Eventually, it flattened out a bit and didn't look too bad. Today was the actual graduation and her party. All of my family on my mom's side was there basically and I hardly know any of them. I totally skipped an important day though. Friday was graduation at EK and I attended the commencement. The only one I am really going to miss is my BFF Bree. I have known her for so long and it is going to suck not seeing her everyday at school. But I know we will stay close and be friends for a long time. I'm going to miss Landon too, but not for the same reasons. during graduation, I found out that his middle name is Thomas. I kinda love that. Tomorrow we are going home and then I have homework to finish. Mainly, my poster about how geometry is fundamental to planning a wedding. You'd be surprised how many math references you can make. The Hot, Hot Heat
Hey guys! I have been meaning to keep up on these but I have been having a really busy week. Last weekend, I had plenty to do. Friday, I went to my friend Rochelle's 17th birthday party at her house. I had a fantastic time as usual. Saturday, I went to a graduation party for on of our family friends. I also had to work prom until 2am. That was horrible. I think I had more fun sneaking off to dance than the people who were allowed to dance did. I didn't have anything to do on Sunday, except sleep. Which I needed a lot of.
This whole week it has been like, 80 every day. Which is a welcome change, but the school has no air conditioning so it gets unbearable during class. All of my teachers are just kinda laying low and not giving us a whole lot of work except for in Spanish. Of all the "tests" I have to take next week, Spanish is the only one I'm concerned about. Mostly, because we have 6 different sets of endings to remember, and all sorts of vocab and culture related stuff that we have to know. Basically, I am like, "OMG, I'm gonna fail this".
Glee on Tuesday was fantastic. Though Gaga was the theme, the episode had a lot of depth. We found out that Ms. Corcoran is Rachel's mom, that Finn needs to watch what he says around Kurt and that Puck has decided to step up and take care of his baby even though Quinn is giving it up. I loved it. I thought it compared well to "Home", which has been the episode with the most depth this season.
Lee won American Idol. I thought Crystal would but I guess people loved Lee more. Knowing the way this season went it probably won't really matter. They'll never be heard from again.
Today is opening day of Sex and the City 2 and I am going to go see it at 4pm today!! I'm really excited. In the preview, there is all this Aiden drama and they are in the desert and I'm just really excited.
My upcoming weekend is jam-packed. I'll tell you all about it later haha :) Write Soon!

Six Simple Words Are Not Enough
Hello there. Look! Two posts in less than a week! I'm so proud of myself. I'm really keeping up on these. Anyway, I have been having a pretty eventful last half of this week. Yesterday I was informed that I am planning my friend Rachel's "wedding" to Jay for May 29th. I think that all of this is his subtle way to say "I like you", but what do I know about popular guys who could date whoever they want. I am all for a relationship between them. They'd be adorable. But Ms. Rachel already has a lover so... Nevertheless, their "wedding" is going to be beautiful. The colors are aqua and a dark lavender. They are gong to be married in the St. Louis Cathedral in NoLa and the theme is what I like to call "Peacock Princess", mainly because peacock feathers are a huge part of the design aesthetic and she will look gorgeous in her Pnina Tornai lace gown. I see it as practice for my future career. All the rest of my friends think I'm crazy for getting so enthused about this.
Today in English class we were talking about those "six-word memoirs" and we were supposed to write some of our own. Well, my class didn't get to writing any because we had to go to an assembly about the consequences of drinking and driving. For a school assembly, it was actually pretty good. They guy who was telling his life story to us had a really bad issue with drugs and alcohol as a teen and was involved in a car crash that left him paralyzed at 26. The best part was when he rolled out into the middle of the gym after the video was over. We were all like, "OMG, that's the guy!". Even though I would never even consider something as dumb as drinking and driving, it was a really touching video and he was a really nice guy who happened to look like Brett Michaels.
But back to six-word memoirs. I did end up writing a couple just for fun. I think that we are going to spend some time writing them tomorrow in class but here's a sneak peak for you guys.

- Many planned, but not my own.
- Sights set high. Accomplishments are few.
- Chivalry, dead? I don't think so.
- I just want my own Nathan. (OTH reference)

Must All Good Things Come To An End?
Hello and welcome back to this lovely page of expression. I have no idea what caused me to write that. Ohh well, what's done is done. Moving on. I had a lovely Monday and Tuesday. We got our OGT results back today during lunch and Rachel and I were the first two people to learn of our results. I passed all of my tests, of course. Our guidance counselor only told me what I got on two of my tests out of the five. I got a 481 on my Social Studies test and a 464 on my Math test. For those of you who don't know, those are really high scores in the scale of OGT grading. I will be receiving a packet that has all of my other scores and rankings (Basic, Advanced, Accelerated) later in the week I presume. What I got on my OGTs will determine whether or not I have to take the final for that class and if I will get a letter-grade bump. With only 12 days left in the school year we have already started turning in books and things like that. I'm pretty confident in finishing this year with all As and keeping my GPA at around a 3.9.
Yesterday, I had the lovely experience of running in and out of the rain to pick up job applications at numerous places around town. Five to be exact. Southside Diner (my #1 choice), Neff's, Dairy Queen, Tim Horton's and The Ice Cream Station. DQ and Tim's aren't really hiring right now so they're basically out and I'm not sure what my chances are at the other places but, this is a step. As noted above, waitressing at Southside would be my absolute favorite of all the places. Enhancing my people skills and getting paid for getting food for people is a pretty fantastic way to start my working life in my opinion.
So the OTH season finale was probably one of the best episodes of the season. I was so happy that Haley was starting to get over her mom's death and have fun with her friends and family. But, best of all, she's pregnant!!!!!! I would use a lot more exclamation points but then this might go on forever. That was the cliffhanger we needed to keep the show alive. Well that and the crazy wannabe wife who showed up and shot Clay and Quinn. And that Julian proposed. Which I thought was adorable. Even if we only get 12 episodes worth of a season 8, I will be happy. So long as the show is still around giving me a reason to live on Mondays.
Glee tonight was fantastical. At first I absolutely hated Neil Patrick Harris' character but toward the end I loved him. I am also not so anti-Jesse anymore. I still want Finn and Rachel to get back together but I don't hate Jesse as much as I used to. I thought all of the Artie/Tina stuff was ah-dorable. They are super cute. I totally called the whole "Ms. Corcoran is Rachel's mom" stuff as soon as Jesse planted the tape. I'd like it a lot better if we were still on the "I'm here to spy and destroy your Glee Club" plot line but, this one is nice too. Gaga next week!! Super excited for that.
Wow this got really long. Ooh, real quick though. Basically, everyone sucked on Idol except for Lee. He's my pick to win it all. I can't believe I succumbed to the monstrosity that is writing about Idol. I'm a terrible excuse for a human being. Write Soon!

Keep These In Mind
Hello! I was hoping that it wouldn't be as long as it has been to put another one of these up but alas, here we are. I really need to become more driven about this. Let's see, what have I accomplished today. Well, I had my final driving session with an instructor today! She said I did really well and I got twos and threes in all categories. The remainder of my day was spent at home by myself because my mom and sister were in Sandusky visiting the elderly and distributing Girl Scout cookies. I took the dogs for a walk and then watched HGTV until they got home. My week has been relatively good. The theme of study hall this week is Disney Princess Coloring Pages. We have been coloring pages out of this giant princess coloring book I bought for my birthday. This means that I've had to take my homework home, but it's worth it. I am going to miss that class so much when the year is over. The rest of my week has been pretty uneventful. Other than English yesterday. Since Wednesday, we have been watching The Bucket List in class and then were required to write one of our own. Some of my items were:
I only have about 3 weeks of school left until the year is done. I can't believe it. Part of me is so ready for summer. Lazy days at the beach and hanging out with friends most every day. Yet, for some reason, I don't know if I want school to end. This year has been so great with very little drama, insane amounts of laughter and really good teachers. Honestly, I'm a little scared it won't carry over into my Junior year. But, I have to stay open-minded and optimistic. Chances are it'll be greater than this year was.
I promise I will try to keep up on these better than I have been. Write Soon!
- Take trips to France, India and Russia
- See every Cirque Du Soleil show
- Own every season of One Tree Hill on DVD
- Be a part of something bigger than myself
- Graduate in the top 10% of my high school class

You and Me, We'll Write A Rad Romance
Hey guys, what's going on? I am just hanging out here at home today. I have no plans other than driving with my driving instructor today at 3:00pm. Actually, those are my only plans for the entire weekend. Wow, that's a little sad. The only other things I have to accomplish this weekend is finishing the other half of my Geometry homework and a worksheet for U.S. Studies. Good thing I went to the library the other day and picked up some books or else I don't know what I would do with myself. Today is a good day to read. It's been all cold an windy these past two days after being like 70 and sunny every day this week. It makes me sad. But, before it got nasty yesterday I did go swimming in the lake for the first time this year! It was SUPER cold, but it was worth it. I had a lot of fun with my sister just playing in the water. After that my other sister came over for a while with her son and we went to go get ice cream while he was napping. Overall, I'd say yesterday was pretty good.
The two books I got from the library are "Life Of Pi" and "Beatrice and Virgil" by Yann Martel. I am in the middle of "Life Of Pi" right now and it's pretty good. I'll probably have to read it again just to grip the story better because right now, I'm a little confused by it. It's about an Indian boy who gets shipwrecked and spends 277 days on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger, a hyena and a zebra and then lands on the coast of Mexico. I also picked up a couple informational books about Costa Rica to further my knowledge of the places I'll be going soon. I am so excited for this trip. Twelve whole days with a good group of people in a place I have never been before. The best part is that I'll be spending them with the lovely Mariama by my side. Ohh the stories I will be coming home with.
I have finally cracked. I now have Lady Gaga on my iPod. I thought I would be able to resist but I guess not. I just can't not party to Telephone and Bad Romance. Also, if you haven't noticed, I sort of quit following American Idol. It's just that this season has a pretty clear winner and I don't really feel like documenting it on here anymore.
Owen and I have made no progress on our new story whatsoever. The only thing we know for sure is that it's going to be a love story.Hopefully, it won't be long before we get rolling with ideas. Write Soon!

Now That Was A Novel Idea!
Hello, hello! How is everyone? I have been having a pretty blah week. It has been extremely nice all of this week and I think the fact that we only have like 20 days of school left is giving me sophomoritis haha. Even though I had a little bit of a fight with a friend of mine, this week has been pretty rad. I started driving with my instructor today and that went relatively well for it being my first time in that situation. I have my make-up class tomorrow and that's when I'll be taking my test. My next driving session is this Saturday and then Wednesday and Saturday of next week. My Costa Rica trip is coming up fast and I'm really excited for it. The only sad part is that one of my best friends who is graduating this year who was supposed to go is no longer able to because she is having knee surgery next week. This makes me really sad because I was looking forward to hanging out with her before she left for college. But I'm sure that we will still hang out a bunch during the summer still. Honestly, she is the only senior that I'm going to miss. Well, her and Landon.
OTH this week was really good. Though I am getting a little tired of Haley and her depression, it is totally understandable. The previews for next week show her jumping into their pool and I'm just like, "No Haley! Your family needs you. You can't kill yourself!" I'm hoping that Nathan can get through to her ad they can work it out as a family. The one thing that is bothering me though is that I don't know if this year is just a season finale or the series finale. The show has been in a contract situation and, as far as I know, the show is still up in the air for renewal. Even if the show doesn't get a full 22 episode season 8, they need a way to tie up loose ends with all the Lucas and Peyton stuff and things with Brooke and Julian. Or Brooke and anybody for that matter. I love her but she never has a consistent lover.
Glee was fantastic as usual. I now have a reason to put "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" back on my iPod. The whole Puckleberry reprise was not as prominent as I thought it was going to be, but at least it put a rift between her and Jesse. Because Jesse's character is only booked for 8 of the 9 episodes, I'm wondering if next week is the one he is missing from because they are "broken up". I loved that after she presented her video thing Finn was like, "How could you do this to us?". Also in the preview for next week, he is the one in the doctor's office with her so maybe Finnchel makes a reprise. I certainly hope so.
I feel so bad that I have been slacking on these. Every time something happens I'm like, "I need to go write about this now," and then it never happens. Oh! Quick update. My BFF Owen and I have decided that we are going to write a novel together this summer. We have totally scrapped the whole DeCassie thing and are starting a new story line that is gonna be written from both of the characters' perspectives. I'm super excited for it. Write Soon!
