Can I Get A Little Southern Hospitality?

Hello there darlings. I expect you have had a marvelous day. Mine was rather boring. BUT, today was my first day of driving school *claps*. I have 7 more sessions throughout the next three weeks on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Then I start driving with an instructor and then I can get my license. Pending I pass everything. Which hopefully shouldn't be a problem. Because Rachel is in my class with me, we have decided to turn it into a pirate adventure of sorts because we haven't been on one in a while. We call it, Steering Your Vessel 101. I think it's quite a nifty name. So in coming weeks you will hear about all the fun times that it shall entail.

Maybe it's because I am a little eccentric that I find myself being drawn to everything about southern life. I want to have a big plantation style house somewhere and I absolutely love derby hats. I actually Googled them today and this one was my favorite.

The only sad part is that it is a $400 hat. Which is reasonable because it is hand-crafted, but it puts owning one out of my reach. I also got curious during the week so I Googled engagement rings and I liked this one the best.
Of all the ones I liked, this is one of the only ones my sister liked too. She is a fan of very large diamonds. She watches too many episodes of Real Housewives.

Even though I am also a believer in the "Bigger Is Better" policy when it comes to diamonds, I loved the simplicity of this ring. I would wear it by itself without a diamond as my wedding ring. I adore the whole braided look of it. Of course, I have to have a little bling so I'd probably end up getting tiny stones placed in something like this.

Maybe I am a little over the top, but I just think I know what I want from my life. I will say that even though my expectations are a little extravagant, I don't care. Ten years from now I see myself living my definition of a perfect life with my definition of a perfect man and all my beautiful children. You may not think it'll happen for me, but I do. And isn't believing in yourself half of the battle? I'd love to know you're thoughts on all of my life goals expressed in this post. Believe me, there is a more detailed version if you want to hear it. Heck, even if you don't want to, I may talk about it later. Write Soon!
